Bath

Famous for its Abbey, Royal Crescent and its preserved Roman Baths and Spa - it is really one of the most beautiful examples of unspoilt Roman cities in the UK.

There is loads to do - especially the quality of the shopping and restaurants.  Much more than many typical high streets.  If you want to get away from the refurbished and more familiar shopping precinct (near the station), aim for the ‘top of town’ as there are lots of alleys and alcoves with special shops/boutiques and bars.

You won’t have to look far to find things to do in Bath as the city is famously full of attractions and activities. In many ways, Bath hasn’t changed much since the times of Georgian gentleman Ralph Allen and writer Jane Austen, both of whom fell under the spell of this city built for pleasure.

Bath is simply a lovely place to visit.  Don’t necessarily use the park and ride, there is a massive underground car-park in the centre.
